bc i have no idea what goes on half the time
not due to a lack of paid attention
some things just aren’t making sense
& i think that it’s okay
to not have all the answers or evidence
in exchange for some sense of peace with unknowns
feeling reminiscent lately…
occasionally i wish i could do things like
rewind time or change the past ~
~ but that’s just simply impossible
so it’s okay to stop for a moment
even though the world won’t
all i know is:
the older i get, the more i love my mom
& seeing ppl smile
& dogs in my neighborhood
& the feeling of sunshine
so… b r e a t h e
be gentle / compassionate / kind
& try give yourself more credit
this place is hard enough 🌱

shown here, last august, an exhausted girlie that slept a total of ~15~ hrs that week. burnt out. tired of the world. sick of it's shit. but for some reason still smiling? wanting to fight even more relentlessly for love & kindness. seems we tend to forget that change and immediacy have a fickle relationship in this silly human experience. the fight is paying off. keep going. you are exactly where you’re meant to be.

A very special birthday post for a very special soundboiiii! In just about a year so much has changed and our friendship has flourished/exploded 🌻 I am so blessed to have you in my life.
