The lawyers retreat wraps up today.
Second year in a row now, Kirsty Pappin and Kate Burt somehow made it even better than last year.
With yoga first thing in the morning to incredible evening entertainment, every detail was taken care of (partners included).
Yesterday, Michael Wolf did his talk to share some sharp insights on video strategy and the mindset behind creating content that actually works.
It ended with a game nobody saw coming.
But here’s some honest truth about the retreat:
You can’t really describe it. You have to be there.
But the relationships built here will last a very long time.

Last week of Q1 is upon us and it feels like it has flown by. Yet, when we look back on it, so much has happened in the span of 3 months (even if we discount all the geopolitical drama around the world😅)
As we approach the end of our 3rd year in business, it is inspiring to look back on what we’ve accomplished in the last 12 months. So here are some stats I’m really proud of:

We’re incredibly proud of our entire team @louleroq@dan_kralev and Dylan for working tirelessly on bringing our vision to reality and our two new additions @_karyna_06 and @liizz026 for keeping the two directors sane throughout the process.

MIPIM 2026 was nothing short of fantastic. This was our second year in the South of France, and the first time we actually came with passes for the exhibitions and stands and it was brilliant. So many things happening around, so many worthwhile conversations, so many connections made and relationships strengthened.
It was great to support some of our clients out here as well as collaborate with Invest Manchester to push the newly-formed brand even further. And it’s always lovely to be “stuck” in the same place with people you know, as the conversations and stories that emerge from that tend to be a lot stronger than the conversations in passing back home.
Thank you to everyone who trusted us to cover their endevours on the ground and so lovely to properly meet and chat with new people.

We are so proud to have been invited by his excellency, the Ambassador of Bulgaria Tihomir Stoychev to celebrate the day down in London, at the Bulgarian embassy.

TechYard were one of our very first commercial clients, back when UWP was just the two of us (Nadia and Michael), building the foundations of what the business would become. At the time, Rob trusted us to create content while he was rebranding and shaping the vision for TechYard.
Fast forward to today and both businesses have grown. What started as a small creative collaboration has evolved into a strategic partnership.
Over the past few days, we’ve spent time with their team delivering the training, getting to know their brand, and filming their new Flagship Brand Video. We’ve taken the time to understand their culture, their ambition, and the way they think about building businesses through people.
From those early projects to an official partnership built on shared growth and trust.
Exciting things are coming.
After having our last shoot for the year, it’s officially a WRAP for 2025. 🎬
I believe this is a great opportunity to look back on the impressive year we’ve had, so here are some of our favourite moments throughout the year. 👀

I feel like I’m the last to post about this, but I couldn’t not share about the amazing experience we’ve had at the @wearenugent Gala Masquerade Ball a couple of weeks ago. It was absolutely a night to remember and I was so happy for my Team and I to be able to attend and capture this wonderful event.

About a month ago, I was honoured to be invited by the wonderful Emma Green to take part in Novel’s podcast series, @marketingmonologuespodcast
We talked a lot about storytelling in corporate media production and broadened the conversation with further marketing topics around behavioural campaigns, AI, and the importance of media in the corporate sector.🎬

What a night to remember at the Nugent Masquerade Gala. 🎭
It was truly an utter pleasure to be part of such a magical evening — filled with mystery, stunning entertainment, and plenty of dancing.💃
A huge thank you to Jo Henney and the entire @wearenugent team for the incredible opportunity. It’s been such a meaningful journey creating the gala’s video, and seeing it presented in front of so many people was a moment I’ll never forget. Being able to help raise awareness for the amazing work Nugent does, through storytelling, has been an honour.
And of course — thank you to our team. Almost all of us were there on the night, and sharing that experience together made it even more special.
What a night. One I’ll remember for a very long time.😅
