CROSSWORD is world premiering at @austinfilmfest !! To our cast, crew, and everyone who made this film possible… THANK YOU! Back in 2020, when I was trapped in a house with a few of my closest friends, the crossword became a part of our daily routine. As my writing partner, Kyle Anderson, was churning through clues, I thought about how wild it’d be if the clues and answers pertained to our lives. That was the birth of this idea. As Kyle and I developed the story, it was apparent the recent death of my childhood friend was informing so many of our decisions and we ended up with a very personal film that dives deep into guilt and grief. I feel so lucky to have made this movie. I feel so lucky to have friends and family members who believed in me enough to jump on board. And I feel lucky to be included in AFF’s killer lineup! Can’t wait to see you all in Austin ❤️
