Storming the Castle 10k is always one of my favourite races of the year. It didn't really go to plan my left calf cramped about halfway through, and the heat just destroyed me I finished in 53:15! There's a vicious rumour that I didn't win 1st Female and that Gemma did, and I only picked the prize up, but photos don't lie! 😂
Trip to Newbridge for the Run Newbridge 5k yesterday. Happy enough with that, knees are still wrecked and I've picked up an achilles niggle a week or so ago! Chip time was 24.07, 3rd in my age category, beaten by young whipper snappers that have likely just turned 50 😂. Course was a little long as I hit 5k at 23:45 but better long than too short! Loads of PBs from other club members 😊

Always one of my favourite races of the year even though it's kind of hilly, The Great Rossa Run. I did the 10k this year and I'm happy enough with that. I feel I still had a little bit left in the tank.

Had another go at the hilly Maguiresbridge 5 miler a couple of weeks ago, 23 degrees made it even harder than usual! Managed a course PB, a good bit faster than last year.
Bit slow at putting this one up, did leg 2 of the Belfast Marathon relay, great day with a brilliant atmosphere! Ballycastle Runners AC managed to fill 5 relay teams.
