57 points.
Hard to believe itâs been 19 years since I put up that number against the Utah Jazz.
I remember just about every bucket from that night. But I remember losing more than anything.
Thatâs why when people ask me if that was my favorite game ever, I tell them the hard truth: Nope.
Gil had a 60 spot that season. Kobe had a couple of 60s that year. Otherwise, I had the league-high in 2006-07. I just wish I could properly celebrate it.
Still, a pretty cool memory though.
My favorite career wasnât 57 against the Jazz, it was 45 (and a W) against Kobe.
I recently sat down to record a full 40 minute video breaking down every play of that November, 2006, game. In essence, though, it all boils down to something I said:
âThe people you respect the most are the people you want to destroy the most.â
This one is for real hoopheads!

Appreciate the recent mention by Bruce Bowen.
It was always fun playing against Bruce, an incredible defender, and Manu and Tony Parker and Tim Duncan in San Antonio because I knew it was going to be competitive and intense hoops.
Nothing better than a challenge!
