Ever since I was a lil guy, fishing a bass tournament was something I always wanted to do. This past weekend, @caseyunderwoodart and I made it happen. We fished two derbies back to back. On Saturday, we finished 11th out of 25 teams with 16.4 lbs. Then, on Sunday, we won the damn thing with 21.6 lbs. 19 teams in that one. Casey also landed a big fish in that one. On a lake that was fishing tough, that was a heck of a bag.
Huge thanks to Casey for being an awesome partner all weekend. And @cassacline … absolute MVP. Breakfast burritos every morning, sandwiches packed, backing the trailer, picking us up. She’s my hero.

Finally put some bass in the boat. It was a real grinder. I don’t have much experience bassin 40 degree water temps. But we kinda put something together! No person I’d rather do it with than @cassacline !
