SAGABOI: PORT OF CALL Spring Summer 2026 Runway Show.
Not the first time I have designed and produced a Sagaboi Runway Show but definitely the largest space and most demanding/challenging show to date, and definitely the most satisfying especially when paired with the guests, the models, the clothes, the steel band an the atmosphere this truly was an epic. With all the elements in place, it turned out better than I had envisaged. Special thanks to everyone who picked up a roller, drill, paint bucket, drawing pin, piece of wood, and all the support I was granted to help get this done, Jaden lovely idea. Stay tuned for some of my shots of Runway in use

âEven if you drape yourself in these fineries⌠Can you actually be British?â đđŹđ§
Now out exclusively on our YouTube channel!
In this powerful conversation with Gillian Joseph, artist Michael Mapp reflects on identity, belonging, and the journey of being Trinidadian British. With unflinching honesty, he speaks about how his work challenges and redefines what it means to be Black and British.
His bold reinterpretation of the Union Jack sparked public criticism but the Queen herself thought differently. At the British Business Embassy during the Olympics, Michaelâs piece stood alongside the likes of Damien Hirst and McLaren. He was the only Black male artist featured and the only one to centre the Union Jack in his work.
This is more than art. Itâs resistance, reflection, and a radical reimagining of British identity - perfectly executed by Michael. đđž
