Day 2 – Shigaraki
Visited the legendary Shigaraki village, home to centuries of ceramic tradition. Met with the clay gods.
Day 3 – Osaka
Morning session learning traditional miso making, followed by a stunning unagi omakase dinner. 🤯
Day 4 – Sakai & Kyoto
Knife masterclass at Sakai Takayuki.
Then headed to Kyoto to visit a sake brewery — exciting things ahead. 🍶🇯🇵

Chef’s Table at @theartsclubdubai by @michaelhoepfl takes place every Wednesday, and it’s one of the best omakase experiences in Dubai. Set inside the beautiful private members’ club, Rōhen has a 6-seat counter where the guests get a closer look at the chefs in action, preparing beautifully executed dishes made with the freshest ingredients.
From the kimchi cucumber crunch salad, tuna & caviar tartlet, Hokkaido scallop and ebi nigiri, to the turbot, Wagyu beef copper served on homemade siracha, to the smiley face steamed bao with pastrami wagyu ribs - every bite was pure indulgence👌🏽
