✨️Last Thursday, tenor Christoph Prégardien and pianist @MichaelGees performed selected songs by Franz Schubert at the Casals Forum.
Tenor Prégardien has just turned 70. We congratulate them on a very impressive evening by two long-standing musical companions, which was rewarded with a standing ovation.
The next recital will take place on February 21 with soprano @ChristianeKarg and pianist Wolfram Rieger; the program includes works by Ravel, Guastavino, and others. Tickets and information via link in bio.

✨ On January 22, 2026, tenor Christoph Prégardien and pianist @michaelgees will transform the evening “Lied im Casals Forum” into a magical moment with selected songs by Franz Schubert.
The theme will also be “Schwanengesang” (Swan Song) – here is an excerpt from a recording at the Oxford International Song Festival 2020. In our program, we take up a poem of the same name by Johann Chrysostomus Senn.

Dos décadas después de su primera visita, volvió junto al pianista Michael Gees para ofrecernos un recital inolvidable con La bella molinera de Schubert: una hora de música sin interrupciones, llena de emoción, poesía y virtuosismo.
Prégardien cautivó con su voz madura, precisa y profundamente expresiva, dando vida al viaje del joven molinero enamorado con una intensidad que aún recordamos.
💫 El concierto cerró con un bis muy especial: Liebesbotschaft, del ciclo Schwanengesang, también de Schubert.
Un inicio de año musicalmente excepcional que seguimos recordando con admiración.
