Activist. Teacher. She is a Legend.
I’ve known Seane for twenty years. I’ve watched her use her voice — relentlessly and fearlessly — for people who don’t always have one. Her activism isn’t separate from her practice, it IS her practice. And that’s exactly why it feels so full circle to be on that mountain together, doing what we both love most.
I’ll be playing acoustic music live while Seane leads what I know is going to be an incredibly moving practice. On the mountain. Together.
There’s something we all need right now. To be in a space that reminds us what it feels like to be truly inspired. Not alone, but surrounded by people who showed up for the same reason. That’s what this day is going to be.
The mountain is ready. Seane and I are ready! See you there!

Happy Mother’s Day Sara! There are so many things I admire about you as a person, and the way that you show up each day as a mom is at the very top of my list. Your presence, preparation, passion, and play inspire me every day.
Your presence and focus with Taj, our seven year old who is so deeply emotionally aware and physically energetic on level 11 most of the time, is a marvel to behold. The way you take time each day to help him ground himself and have meaningful (sometimes tough) conversations is so powerful and is a huge part of why he’s so tuned into what he’s feeling.
You are always thinking months and years ahead for the development of the kiddos and somehow always seem to have the next learning toy, book, life lesson, or next sized outfit ready before we even realize they need it. Meanwhile I’m over here just trying to remember what day of the week it is. 😆
You are so passionate about parenting, and I love the way you comfort Lua when her biggest tears flow, and how you laugh with her just as hard as she laughs with you. When she makes a giant mess eating, you always chalk it up to, “That’s how she learns to do it!” while rinsing broccoli out of her hair with a smile like it’s completely normal behavior. Which in our house… it kind of is. 😂
The way you emphasize play might be my favorite. You created a family play space with a matted floor so all of us can sit down, make puzzles, build Legos, read, do yoga, tumble, fall, and get back up safely. You never stop the kids from falling unless it’s clear they could actually hurt themselves seriously. You allow the bumps, scrapes, and tears to happen and lovingly remind them they’ll be okay. And somehow you are never without a Band Aid, a snack, or the right song needed to avert total emotional collapse. 😂
Thank you for filling our home with so much motherly love, warmth, adventure, wisdom, and care in all the ways that you do. We are so blessed to walk through life with you. I love you. 🙏🏽♥️
