Tattoo of friendship. I sat with my friend Mike while getting tattooed by our two close friends Bence and Arno in Taichung Taiwan at the Formosa convention. We always love traveling together to conventions and around the world. This time they came up with the idea to collaborate, combining their two completely opposite styles. Bence works in colorful romantic neo traditional, and Arno in black and gray bio organic. Together they’re creating an incredible piece on Mike’s leg. So, I filmed this little story about it. The Story of the Rugged Ramblers. Watch full film in our bio 📺 👈🏾 In this episode, Life Beyond Ink follows the remarkable path of Sergey Fedotov, a Moscow-born artist who found freedom and identity on the open roads of America. What began as a leap across continents became a pilgrimage of self-discovery, sketched out mile by mile in his visual journal, Highway Notes. Driving a retro van through forgotten highways and race tracks, Sergey documented the pulse of the country: the people, the grit, and the beauty found between destinations. His travels eventually led him to Portland, Oregon, where his creative journey took root. There, among engines and ink, Sergey built a new home, a circle of artists, and a collection of tattoo works known as the Rugged Ramblers, an ode to movement, rebellion, and the human stories that unfold when you chase the road instead of the map. We filmed Sergey at the Toutle Race Track in Toutle, Washington, deep in the woods under the heavy August heat. Engines roared through the pines, dust rose off the track, and the spirit of the road, the same one that shaped his art, was alive all around him. Just got home from Gods of Ink and my brain is still catching up. There’s something unreal about being surrounded by the best artists in the world people I’m lucky enough to call friends. It doesn’t feel like a convention, it feels like a family reunion. The kind that reminds you why you fell in love with this industry in the first place. A trip inside Romania’s best tattoo convention. Please Read Below🙏🏽🖤 My 5th documentary has finally been released. For those of you that don’t know, one of my biggest passions is filmmaking. When I first created this idea of Inked Abroad, I always wanted to make documentaries with the world’s most fascinating tattoo artists. Years later, I finally was able to chase that dream with my best friend @michaelcorman . We are independent filmmakers traveling the world, filming and editing these projects ourselves capturing and preserving the stories of these incredible people within our tattoo community. It’s my life long goal to spend it documenting tattooing across the world, so that it can remembered and cherished forever. In this newest film, I took a trip to Bucharest to spend time learning about @costitattoo a tattooer of 27 years, and the host of the @bucharesttattooconvention . It was truly a trip of a lifetime, where Costi not only threw on an unforgettable tattoo show but also gave us an entire tour of his home country of Romania.
