4 days. 500 kilometers. The Ha Giang Loop in Vietnam last year 🇻🇳🏍️
Northern Vietnam is easily one of the most breathtaking places on Earth. Towering mountains, waterfalls, endless rice terraces, and winding jungle roads that feel like you’re riding through a dream. Every stop along the way felt like stepping into a different world. The villages full of warmth, curiosity, and smiles, where strangers welcomed us in like family.
The traditional food was fire, that's been cooked the same way for generations, flavors straight from the land, shared around tables that felt like home even though we had just arrived. The food provided on the trip was the exact same everyday so I tried my best to try local vendors every time I had the chance. Living and eating how the locals have for hundreds of years was humbling and inspiring.
This trip wasn’t without chaos though.. myself and
@l_a_n_k_y almost drove off cliffs more than once, Mile's got stung in the face by a killer wasp on the last day of the loop and they wanted to keep him in a hospital in the jungle for 5 days lmao. & I got hit with a bad batch of “happy water” that nearly took me out 😅. But we made it through and I walked away with a whole new perspective on life.
Vietnam left a permanent mark on me, and if you ever get the chance to visit I'd highly suggest doing the loop.
