Kentaro Jin, known as “The Strange Catman,” @catman6701 completed a journey of over 5,000 kilometres (approximately 3,100+ miles) on foot across Australia whilst raising funds for children’s cancer research. The Japanese national, who walked in a leopard-print suit and pushed a wheelbarrow for over two years, traveled from Carnarvon in Western Australia to Sydney, finishing at the Opera House today.

Dancing In The Moonlight by @garrypurchase_artist
At first light this morning, the world-renowned Sydney Opera House sails were illuminated with this spectacular Aboriginal artwork.
Dancing in the Moonlight depicts the sacred BurriBurri - the humpback whale - breaching beneath a night sky. It represents its ancient journey since time immemorial, its path written across the dreaming and emblazoned in the stars. The whale moves with power and grace, carrying cultural memory, strength and endurance. The whale is an honoured totem for coastal tribes and mobs all around our island home.
This painting is deeply personal to Garry. It is a vision of strength, rebirth and renewal. It reflects his own journey of re-emerging, finding his voice again, and learning to stand proud of who he is.
Dancing in the Moonlight is about reclaiming strength, honouring culture, and moving forward with pride and purpose.
