Huge news! We are releasing Motion Sickness the Album by Michael Dupp - and Naarm we would love you to come celebrate with us.
Inspired by artists like Aphex Twin, Simo Cell, Stavroz & Rival Consoles, @michael_dupp (AKA Toby Leman) is performing his debut album in full: you can expect everything in between thumping EDM and minimalist saxophone. It is an emotional, high energy, sonic journey from our current chaos into the future of deep space.
This event is both an album celebration and a tour fundraiser. All profits from ticket sales, the bar, and merch will be going straight into helping us tour and continue to make theatre. So please come, be generous, listen to the album, have a drink and a chat about independent music and theatre in Melbourne.
At the album launch you will catch @ashab.mp4 's immersive visualiser, and sneak peaks of text and movement from the full stage show. You'll be able to buy the album on USB, and buy prints of the album artwork you can see here by @raven_maedit_ .
Doors open at 6pm at @balambalamplace just off Sydney Road in Brunswick. Music from 7-8pm. There will be a bar open throughout.
