I truly love writing ambient music. The process feels very emotional, personal, and intimate to me. From experience, ambient music often finds a smaller audience - but it’s an audience that doesn’t just hear the music while doing something else around the house. It’s an audience that can dive into every sound, sink into their imagination, and connect with something deeper within themselves.
This piece is an invitation to slow down - to sit, close your eyes, and let your imagination wander freely.

I often listen to music through the lens of imagination. Some compositions become a picture, a moment, or a feeling for me, especially when it comes to ambient music. After finishing this piece, I spent a long time listening to its atmosphere, trying to understand what image it evokes. Gradually, a scene appeared in my mind: a quiet, empty harbour, the sky covered with heavy clouds. A person in a coat stands by the water, looking into the distance at a ship slowly leaving the shore. Perhaps they are followed by thoughts of sadness and melancholy, yet somewhere inside there is still a warm hope for something better. The music fit this inner picture so perfectly that I simply decided to call the track “Harbour.”

The song is about nature, which is always beautiful and inspiring, but we often underestimate its dangers. It draws you in and captivates, yet at the same time can be unpredictable and harsh. The title reflects this combination - the beauty and power of nature that deserves respect.

“Bathed in Grey” was created on one of the most ordinary winter days in Europe, when the sun hadn’t appeared for weeks, the cold wind mixed with rain, and the sky was covered with thick grey clouds. This is exactly what the title reflects. I think, as with many people, the atmosphere outside can mirror our inner feelings and perception of the world and that left its mark on the song’s sad and misty mood.

Those of you who have been listening to me for a long time already know what this series means, but for the new listeners - let me explain. From time to time, I publish extended versions of tracks that were originally created 2–3 years earlier. In addition to being longer, some of these tracks also receive improved sound and subtle updates.
For me personally, this is a really special experience, because I get to reopen my old projects and explore them almost as if they were new again - with the opportunity to refine, enhance, and extend them.
