Had the pleasure of viewing Dark Side of Night at its red carpet premiere last weekend, and what an experience it was. This has been the biggest film I’ve worked on yet, and the most work I’ve put in for a project. I am thrilled with the results, and so thankful for my fellow crew and cast members for putting in long hours to make this thing happen. Barb and Randy, I’ll be forever grateful that y’all brought me along for this fun ride.

A CALL AWAY - Day 3
By day three, directing came a whole lot easier. Nick and I got things rolling swiftly, and the crew worked like a well-oiled machine. Their professionalism and precision throughout the entire shoot was amazing. We had some technical hoops to jump through on location, but were able to adapt quickly. Speaking of location, I couldn’t have asked for a better spot for our final scenes than the Mesa Gateway Airport! I can’t wait for everyone to see the footage captured on our final day. Wow!

A CALL AWAY - Day 1
The first day of production came with it’s challenges, but thankfully Nicholas and I had one hell of a team to face them. They say rain during a wedding is good luck, and the same may go for film. Bad weather out of the blue didn’t stop this amazing cast and crew—which we were so very fortunate to work with. Our sister designed a wonderful set, and the team lit it to perfection. I can’t wait for everyone to see the incredible emotion our actors brought to the table. Even as our longest and most intense day, this one turned out a striking success!
