Two for the price of one. Today was the leftover @nanneboere birthday jam at @sweatshopskatepark . So in good company of a lot of graffitiwritets we cleared out a couple of hundred bits and pieces leftovers spraycans. For the two pieces i’ve made I smashed about 70 cans with Some paint left in it. And than straighten it out again with Some wall paint and a brunch of cans which where lesscthan half full. #Clearingouttheshed. #streetart #postgraffiti #geometricart #graffiti
I was asked by @fredandfilou to come over to Antwerp in the weekend of the 24th to the 26th for the closing weekend of @demortselarij and @theredlionarthouse . After 8 years brewing and creating Unfortunatly they have to move out of this location. To me a big loss for Antwerp. So during this weekend Some walls could be painted for the last time. Several artist, for instance @serge_kb@simonmannaerts@lobster_robin@nickynahafahik@__smok__ , showed up and did what they like to do…. On tour with @serge_kb . Went to a location down south which we already visited a couple of years ago. We didn’t thought this abandoned place would be still there. We passed by it on our way towards Bonn. So on our way back from Bonn we had some time left, so why not stop and paint while we there anyway. For now we had a nice sunday afternoon painting in serenity. Maybe have to visit this place sometime again, but it isn’t just around the corner. I was asked by houding cooperative @stedelinkwonen (Zoetermeer) to make a mural upon a wall at the Nervilijn/Lijnbaan in Zoetermeer. I had to@make three sketches where the residents could choose from. They chose this Mandarin Duck.
To my opinion a good choice because of the fact they neighborhood Noordhove could use Some bright colors. It’s a very sober and gray neighborhood colorwise. Resident who passed by while I was working on this mural said they liked it before it was finished. They also said Thatcher neighborhood could use Some more color. I’m glad that I brought Some smiles upon these people their faces. Up to the next one I say… Stedelink, Thanks for this commissioned job!

Four in a row. @_seepsee_ ,from Greece, came to visit the Netherlands and asked if we could paint together. Which is always nice. Due to the fact I’m a curator of a couple of walls inside @kabeldistrict we could paint there. We also invited @vast.and.infinite and @kleurklaas to join us. We each painted a 4 x 4 meter wall. You can visit the kabeldistrict and enter it a entrance Noord 5 where you can see these murals.
