But the bar is so low from where Ye once was that we look for a new barometer of brilliance in his work that doesnât light a candle to his best work. A solid entry into JIDâs catalogue. Didnât blow me away, and isnât as impressive as 2022âs âThe Forever Storyâ. But this is a good album regardless. Wish it threaded together a little better and had something novel to showcase JID as the guy with the new crown.
