IT House, Linda Taalman, 2020
Our team traveled to Lone Pine in the Eastern Sierras to visit Karen and Gary Rathburn at their beautifully sited IT House designed by architect Linda Taalman. What began as Karenâs dream for a special piece of family land became a reality through love, care, and thoughtful design. We also caught up with Linda Taalman as she revisited the home and reunited with Karen and Gary in the place they created together.

Our team traveled to the Eastern Sierras in Lone Pine to meet Karen and Gary Rathburn, owners of one of architect Linda Taalmanâs thoughtfully designed IT Houses.
Karen acquired this special piece of land from her father with the dream of one day building a beautiful home there. Years later, Gary helped bring that dream to life, building the house with love, care, and intention against the stunning backdrop of the Sierras.
