Thanks @wgnnews We’re still doing chair spins over here because our Bonus Grannies of Moxie Movez Pole Fitness were just featured on WGN Morning News in Chicago — yes, THE WGN! And guess what? We didn’t even need a plane ticket. We went virtual and made it all the way to Chi-town with style, sass, and silver sneakers. 💃🏾💻
From warm-ups to wig checks, we had the BEST time behind the scenes. There was dancing, laughing, a little nervous sweating, and a whole lot of Moxie. And though she wasn’t with us physically, my grandmother was absolutely with us in spirit, keeping us smiling, strong, and on beat. 💖
This was more than just a segment — this was a moment. 💫 We know @gagasays is smiling looking down on us.

We’re raising $2,500 to bring our Grannies (+1 Grandpa!) to Pole Con, covering their food, passes, outfits, and transportation. This year, we’re bringing seniors from two different centers, and this is just half the crew 15 + members! They’ll be performing on a very special day—the founder of Moxie Movez’s ( Me) birthday! 🎂✨

Everything that I do is in honor of my ancestors 💜 I’m still in shocked that I was honored as a Usung Hero ✨✨ at The War Memorial Building on yesterday evening. As I was getting my make up done earlier that day, I received news that my great auntie had transitioned as I was sitting in the makeup artist chair! All I could hear was my grandmother’s voice saying she’s here with me now. Make us proud! ✨✨ Don’t mess up that make up Girl 🙌🏽🙌🏽 My Granmother spirit gave me the strength to continue with my day, Through my work I will continue to honor them by serving those who came before us ✨✨ @MoxieMovez has so many new things coming up this year 🙌🏽🙌🏽 Stay tuned
