يعيد عمل “تعبير لا نهائي” للفنان علي بابا أورانغ تقديم سورة الفاتحة من خلال مزجٍ بين خطّي الكوفي والنستعليق، وهما تقليدان مختلفان يلتقيان في عمل واحد.
وباستخدام الحبر والأصباغ وورق الذهب، يعكس العمل كيف يواصل الفنانون المعاصرون استلهام قرون من التراث الفني الإسلامي، مع ابتكار أساليب جديدة تعبّر عن الحاضر.

Infinite Expression by Ali Baba Awrang reimagines Surah Al-Fatiha through a blend of kufic and nasta‘liq scripts, two distinct traditions brought together on a single canvas. Using ink, pigments, and gold leaf, the work reflects how contemporary artists continue to draw from centuries of Islamic artistic heritage while shaping something entirely new.

For World Art Day, we asked two Qatar-based creators to explore the museum in their own way, each guided by a single color. It showed up not just in the artworks, but in the quiet details, the light, and the spaces in between.

متحف الفن الإسلامي أكثر من مجرد عمارة أو مقتنيات.
هو مساحة نرى من خلالها الثقافة، ونقترب فيها من الفن.
أما شيخة النصر، فلم تكن زيارتها مجرد مرور عابر.
كان اللقاء الأول لحظة بقيت في الذاكرة، وما زالت تشكّل تجربتها مع المتحف حتى اليوم.
