Super happy fun sad song to end a rather enjoyable week. (Absolutely love my @linnykenneyleather guitar strap.) The original was Rock Salt and Nails by Utah Phillips though my take on it is a few (hundred) generations removed from @williewatsongs version which is how I came upon it.
My last day at the museum was last week and our last day in Austin is today. Here’s a random assortment of memories from the last 15 years or so and I’m tagging where possible but certainly can’t manage to tag everyone I’ve gotten to know and had the pleasure of working with over the years. It’s been fun!

• @woodschoolmaine The Board of Directors of the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship is pleased to announce that Matt Hoggle has been appointed Executive Director, effective June 1, 2022.
Matt joins the Center from the Contemporary Austin where he is the Director of the museum’s Art School at Laguna Gloria, an organization he has served for the past 15 years. In his role as Director, he has been responsible for all aspects of the Art School’s operations, including programming for more than 600 classes each year, faculty and staff hiring and management, strategic planning and budgeting, and operational oversight of an 8,500 sq. ft. facility on a 13-acre campus.
