Mhar Udarbe, known professionally as #DJMuii, may have started a bit late in the game, but he has quickly made a name for himself.
What truly sets him apart in Manila’s underground hip-hop scene is his ability to seamlessly blend hip-hop classics with modern tracks. In an interview with Billboard Philippines, Muii reflected on his journey — from learning under the guidance of his mentors, to joining “crews” and collectives, and finding his way to connect with the crowd through his beats.
“It’s not just about playing tracks. It’s about making the crowd feel something, making sure no one feels left out in the room,” he shares.
