“There’s Truth in Gospel” – A Modern-Day Congregation on the Dance-floor This project is really close to my heart — built around the idea of a modern-day congregation, reimagined through the energy of soulful, high-spirited house music. It’s about bringing that feeling of togetherness, joy, and spirit you find in gospel into the club — a place where voices, rhythms, and hearts connect. Across six tracks, you’ll hear layers of live instruments — trumpets, flutes, percussion, even field recordings from the streets of Brazil — all blending into something warm, raw, and alive. I’ve been lucky to create this with some incredible people: Fawziyya Heart, Aku, Chiqo Casidi, Morgan Wiley, Ze Nigro, Jkriv, Dominica, Carter, Daniel Winshall and La Lula — each one adding their own magic.✨ This EP is my ode to unity, joy, and collective celebration. “Music really is timeless” Some years ago I meet Casey on holiday in Mexico and he was such a big character that it was love at first sight. 💌✨ Every club we visited in Mexico, Casey would make this very distinctive call/cheer on the dancefloor.
