Ok, so I've expanded the idea of a DJ band into a DJ crew!
Who wants to be in the crew?
You gotta be dope at skratching, and if not, you gotta be insane at one facet or another with DJing, be it mixing, VJing, producing, networking, etc.
The initial goal once again will be to make a live set / album that we can perform around the 303. All Turntablism-based!
A DJ crew can be bigger than just a band, so if people feel they wouldn't be the strongest performers, but believe they could help out the crew in other ways, I'm all ears.
So who wanna do this?!
303 peeps: Who would be interested in starting a Turntablism Band with me?
A band like Invisibl Skratch Piklz , The Beat Junkies, BIRDY NAM NAM etc....
The initial plan would be to produce an hour-long live act / album, and then start performing it live around the 303.
It would require meeting up on a bi-weekly basis until our band's act is fully created and then thoroughly rehearsed. We would perform the set in Colorado cities.
An ideal show night would be us as the main act, all three or four of us jamming together, and then the opening acts leading up to the main act would be each one of us individually doing a set. Sounds like a fun time right?!
Each bandmate must be proficient at skratching and mixing, responsible to show up for rehearsals, practice one's parts thoroughly between rehearsals, and be professional enough to work with and listen to one another with open ears, minds, and hearts!
Who wanna join forces and make some magic!?

Show starts at 7pm at VisionQuest Brewery in Boulder, if you wanna spin for open decks, bring vinyl and headphones and show up at 630!
Come through and say goodbye- I mean GOOD LUCK!! And peep the amazing set I've put together for one last show before my chest gets sawed open and I have to wait until it fuses back together before I can perform again... w00t! w00t! Gonna be lit fam!!

Big news! I'm getting rid of my smartphone, and trading it in for a flip phone! So I won't be on social media anymore y'all! I'm ready! No more Doom scrolling. The T-Mobile merchant at the store says I'm the first guy they've ever seen do this for real. I'm starting the revolution! Who's coming with me?!
