A first-person portrait of a Chinese migrant worker’s life in the context of rapid urban transformation in Guangzhou’s largest urban village.
The film incorporates a large amount of user-generated footage from the protagonist, revealing his complex sense of belonging in a love–hate relationship with Shipai Village.

Under the wing of performance teachers from Ghana, Delado emerged during the peak of racial and structural tensions in Liverpool. Carving out their black identity through rhythm & movement they find a sense of belonging whilst confronting marginalisation and racism. This documentary tells their unheard story.
