Clara Fernández-Vara is an Arts Professor at the NYU Game Center. She is a media scholar as well as a game designer and writer. She has worked on commercial projects at an international level for organizations such as Warner Bros., the Spanish National Ballet, Big Fish Games, and Die Gute Fabrik among others. As an academic, her main research interests are the narrative design of detective games as well as videogame history/ Her book, Introduction to Game Analysis, now in its third edition, is one of the key textbooks in the field of game studies.

Kim Ima is a performer, writer, and community events enthusiast. Member the New York Day Of Remembrance Committee. Longtime member of the Great Jones Rep at La MaMa; La MaMa credits include Cassandra in The Trojan Women directed by Andrei Serban and composed by Elizabeth Swados; many GJR shows directed by Ellen Stewart; Sur, a play adapted from Ursula K. Le Guin's short story; Food for Thought and Travels, Tours and One Night Stands, company-devised works co-directed with Onni Johnson: writing and directing The Interlude, a play about Kim's father's childhood in prison camp during WWII; and most recently performing her one woman show, Ready For Company and Other Family Tales. Kim is one of the founders of The Trojan Women Project, a community arts program at La MaMa that has worked with actors, musicians and community members in Kosovo, Cambodia, Guatemala, Italy, Ukraine and New York City. Other credits include Lunch Dances with Monica Bill Barnes & Company at the NYPL, MixTape Volume 1 at Keen Company; The Seven Deadly Sins, directed by Anne Bogart at The New York City Opera with the SITI Company; A Midsummer Night's Dream with the National Asian American Theatre Company; Disaster Theater at SMUSH Gallery in Jersey City; and an all female online The Cherry Orchard directed by Rachel Murdy. Kim co-produced films for the filmmaker and comic book writer, Greg Pak, both short films and the feature film, Robot Stories. Kim was the owner of a food truck called The Treats Truck, along with a bakery cafe, The Treats Truck Stop, and a cookbook, The Treats Truck Baking Book. Kim is a member of the New York Day Of Remembrance Committee, a group of Japanese American New Yorkers and allies dedicated to community programming, activism and partnerships, using the history of forced removal, family separation, and incarceration of Japanese Americans during WWII, as well as the activism and organizing that grew from it to address the injustices and ongoing need to speak up on behalf of all people.

Trung Le Nguyen is an award-winning Vietnamese American cartoonist, artist, and writer from Minnesota.
Trung’s first original graphic novel, The Magic Fish, was published in 2020 through Random House Graphic.
He has also contributed work both as an author and as an artist for a variety of comics publishers, including DC Comics, Oni Press, Boom! Studios, Image Comics, and Marvel.
Trung has been nominated for an Eisner, a prize at Angoulême (France), a GLAAD award, and has won two Harvey Awards and a Romics (Italy).
He currently lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota and raises a small flock of very spoiled hens.

They edit comics across ages and genres, and especially love championing fresh new voices, inventive world-building, and character-driven stories with a lot of heart. Before joining HarperCollins, Rose worked at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Children’s Books. They are a graduate of Emerson College, where they earned a BFA in Writing, Literature, and Publishing. Vee created and produced animated shorts for Cartoon Network, Dropout TV and Adult Swim. With 15 years+ in animation, doing storyboards and episode directing, they also moonlight as a webcomic creator. Most recently, they finished the webcomic Rodney R Rodney, which ended with a successful Kickstarter project to self publish more than a thousand copies. They currently run their new webcomic, AWOL666, while episode directing on Clash of Clans for Netflix.
