It’s rare to have the opportunity to take risks, to explore materials, to make walls you can walk through and imaginary skirts, and to have the resources and support to bring all of that to life. Thank you to everyone involved, and congratulations.

A basketweave Corset. Conceived for @woodsidekc as a celebration of Summer. A fusion of traditional basketweave technique, Carnivale costume structures, and my inevitable pastoral sensibilities. This piece took approximately 80 hours to construct and tapped many new skills for me. I knew I could handle the wireframe structure, but the weaving and floral work were new challenges that I’m exceedingly proud to have risen to.
Styling by @thestiltingballerina and produced with @quixoticfusion and @anthonymagliano
Midsummer 2025 with @quixoticfusion and @woodsidekc hit the books last week and stretched most every muscle I’ve got. Designing and building these beauties (with a lot of help from @alexgf214 was a special treat.
