Ce soir je vous présente mon projet de l’édition 38 de @fibremood 💛 J’ai eu un coup de cœur pour la couleur de ce Twill mélange viscose / nylon au ton miel de chez @psfashionfabrics 🍯 J’ai cousu Rima, j’ai littéralement craqué pour sa petite cape mais je l’ai modifiée pour en faire une robe, j’ai donc rallongé la blouse initiale. Quand aux finitions du col j’ai modifié aussi : pied de col pour la robe et biais à cheval pour la cape afin de la rendre amovible ! J’ai cousu de gros boutons écaille vintage pour apporter un côté lumineux à la tenue. De Bristol Bag 💼 wat een zalig patroon! Toen dit patroon uitkwam, was ik meteen verkocht 😍 Alle maten zijn leuk, maar die mini versie… helemaal m’n ding! De zoektocht naar perfecte stofjes kon beginnen en -geloof me- die was niet simpel! Ik heb zoveel leuke stofjes overwogen 😅. Gelukkig met wat hulp van @vanschiestoffen uiteindelijk voor 2 vrolijke katoentjes gegaan en meteen vervolledigd met alle versteviging, ritsen, schuivers, labels en garen 😁 Het patroon zelf naaide echt super vlot. De uitleg is zó duidelijk dat dit tasje verrassend snel klaar was 🤩 Omdat de katoentjes vrij dun zijn, heb ik ze wel extra verstevigd zodat het tasje mooi stevig blijft staan. En wauw! Ik ben echt héél blij met hoe hij geworden is ❤️ Wat vinden jullie? The moment this pattern was released, I was completely sold 😍 All sizes are beautiful, but the mini version… totally my thing! Then the search for the perfect fabrics began and — trust me — it wasn’t easy 😅 I considered so many cute fabrics. Luckily, with a little help from @vanschiestoffen ,I finally chose these 2 cheerful cotton prints ✨ And of course I completed the order with all the interfacing, zippers, sliders, labels and thread 😁 The pattern itself was such a joy to sew. The instructions are so clear that this little bag came together surprisingly fast 🤩 Because the cotton fabrics are quite thin, I did add some extra reinforcement so the bag keeps its shape nicely. Tu te lancerais aussi ? 👀 . Ce jean barrel, c’est clairement le premier d’une longue série 🪡😅 . Patron utilisé : le pantalon en viscose 112 de @burdastylefr . Je l’ai cousu en taille 36 avec les modifications suivantes : • un léger ajustement au niveau de l’empiècement dos pour mieux épouser la cambrure) • diminution de la hauteur de fourche de 1cm ( mais j’aurais du faire 2cm de plus) • diminution de la hauteur des pièces pantalons au niveau des genoux de 6cm ) Le tissu : un denim 100% coton orné de strass sur fond bleu clair, trouvé chez @lescouponsdesaintpierre ✨ Une vraie pépite… mais clairement plus technique que prévu 😅 Le défi, c’était de me rapprocher au maximum d’un jean du commerce, avec de vraies surpiqûres et des finitions au point de chaînette. Pour ça, j’ai utilisé une aiguille Jeans Gold taille 90 de @schmetz_official ainsi que le fil Denim Doc de @mettler_thread pour les surpiqûres 🧵 Honnêtement, le combo parfait pour éviter les points sautés et le fil qui casse sur ce type de tissu.
