Give STL Day is almost here, and we’re excited for it! Early giving is open now, and this week is a chance for our community to come together in support of young people experiencing the joy of live theater. Metro Theater Company is raising $2,500 this Give STL Day to support our work with children and families across the St. Louis region. Your support helps make it possible for us to: • Offer summer camp scholarships so more kids can create, play, and grow through theater • Bring live performances and storytelling into schools and community spaces • Support the artists and teaching artists who make this work possible • Keep our programs accessible for more young people and families Every gift, no matter the size, helps more kids experience creativity, confidence, and connection through theater. You can give early now, or join us on Give STL Day this Thursday, May 7. Link to GiveSTL Day in bio!

At Metro Theater Company, the stories we bring to the stage are inspired by the communities we serve—and by the books young people are reading every day! 📚 We look to the stories educators and caregivers are sharing so our work can extend beyond the performance and into classrooms, libraries, and homes. This National Library Week, we’re celebrating the vital role libraries play in our community. They are essential spaces for access, imagination, and learning for so many of the families we serve. We’re grateful to the @stlouispubliclibrary and @stlouiscountylibrary systems for the opportunity to perform for their patrons, and for all they do for the STL community. All of the books featured in this post are available at your local library. Go check one out and keep the story going! ✨
