Post 1 of 3: California IT in Education (CITE) is a not-for-profit, professional membership association supporting the IT Professionals working in schools. The members are the dedicated individuals supporting hardware, software, help desk, data, WiFi, providing training, and installing and maintaining the infrastructure as the technology used in schools is now an essential component to teaching and learning.
Post 2 of 3: This year, the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego was the host venue, and from the jump, we were faced with some serious challenges, given the lower than normal ceiling and large columns blocking the view of the stage and screens. As always, we printed an 8’h x 40’w backdrop, and another Hardwall behind that to fill the almost 200’ wide room.
Post 3 of 3: Utilizing 6x 25,000 lumen 4k projectors, 2x E2 Video Switchers, Resolume Media Server, 6x additional graphics machines, 2x 4k Cameras, 2x 10’w x 50’w borderless screens, 32x JBL Line Array Speakers, a QL5 for console, along with 12x GLP moving fixtures and a grandMA for control—and thanks to our talented team, the General Session was executed perfectly!

Post 2 of 3: Our team made the journey from California to Miami to support dunnhumby at their North American Global Partner Summit. Metro AV provided comprehensive support, not only for the General Session but also for their networking events and the Ballroom Foyer. There, we helped bring to life seven bespoke interactive experiences with our Backdrop ONE system, showcasing their latest AI-powered software innovations.
Post 3 of 3: From our sleek new pedestal screen stands to seamless backdrops, translation services, and custom staging, the event was an overwhelming success—not just for the dunnhumby team but also based on the glowing feedback from their attendees. We’re proud to have played a role in creating such a memorable and impactful experience and look forward to collaborating again in the future!
Post 1 of 3: After just three events with the Association of California Water Agencies (ACWA) we’ve been able to take their General Session from basic black drape and randomness, to a backdrop so sophisticated, it could be used at the Enterprise level. It’s truly been an honor working with them for the past 18 months and we’re excited for what the future holds!
Post 2 of 3: Starting off, we have three borderless screens flown on the upstage truss, one-hundred feet of 18’h Backdrop ONE, a digital podium, custom fabricated “ACWA” letters and our new flagship ability, curved Backdrop walls. Taking inspiration from the ACWA logo, these waves stagger in height and respectfully span fifty, seventy and eight-five feet wide!
Post 3 of 3: With a surprise visit from Governor Newsom, ACWA conferences are the premier destination for water industry professionals to learn and connect. They’ve now enhanced the conference experience with new features, and more networking opportunities. Next stop, Palm Desert!

Post 2 of 3: For the third year in a row, Metro AV provided, gear, labor, scenic, rigging, digital signage and exhibitor booth support. With five concurrent stages and two semi-trucks full of gear, we filled the Palmer Event Center with everything but a PA, as silent disco headphones is the only way to produce an event of this size and scope.
