Why does it take time? Because this work is not about rushing a statement, a complaint, or a headline. It involves real people, real trauma, and real consequences. Every testimony needs to be received with care, trust, and proper support. Survivor-led work takes time because safety comes first. Coming forward is hard. Some victims are afraid to file a complaint alone. They may fear not being believed, being exposed, being blamed, or facing consequences in a scene where professional, social, and personal circles often overlap. Speaking up is never just “telling what happened.” It can affect someone’s work, mental health, safety, and relationships. The media treatment is part of the fear. Going public can mean facing scrutiny, comments, doubt, pressure, and sometimes retaliation. This is why testimonies cannot be handled carelessly. Journalists who work on these stories need time to verify, protect sources, respect legal boundaries, and avoid putting victims at further risk. Gathering testimonies takes time. Calls for witnesses do not produce instant results. Some people need days, weeks, or months before they feel safe enough to speak. Some may never feel ready, and that must also be respected. We move at the pace of the victims. No one is pushed to testify, file a complaint, or do anything they are not ready to do. The work is already happening. The fundraiser is already being used to support this process. It helps cover the professionals who are assisting us, as well as victims who do not have the resources to face legal, psychological, or practical steps alone. Lawyers, journalists, and other professionals are working carefully and responsibly. This kind of work takes time because it has to be done properly. Silence does not mean nothing is happening. A lack of public updates does not mean there is no progress. Often, the most important work is the work that cannot be shown publicly: protecting people, checking information, building trust, and making sure no one is put in danger. Thank you for your patience and support. Believe victims. Respect their pace. Support the process.

We’ll try to be more active here and share more with you. But our work is first and foremost with victims, and it takes a lot of time, care, and responsibility. We are all volunteers, with full-time jobs alongside this work. We also hear your need for transparency and reassurance. We will gradually share more about who we are. But trust that the work is happening. And when the first concrete outcomes come out, you will see it. Thank you for your patience, your support, and for taking these issues seriously. Text of the slides in the comments so you can translate in your langage.

In most cases, support begins with pro bono advice and guidance. If further support is needed, METOODJS can help victims move forward depending on their situation and available resources. ME TOO DJS is now officially a recognized nonprofit association in France. We are raising funds to support groups of victims whose cases have already made significant progress against 6 artists. There are many other cases too. They are moving forward at each victim’s own pace, and we will also need funds later to support them when the time comes. Our work with journalists is also ongoing. We are 100% transparent about how the money is used. Our entire team is volunteer-based, and will remain so. If you want to support us, please share our calls for testimonies, share our fundraiser, and tag major artists and festivals from the scene under our latest post. We have opened the comments. Every share matters. Every donation matters. Every voice can help change the scene.

YOU SUPPORTED IN PRIVATE. NOW SUPPORT IN PUBLIC. At the beginning of this campaign, many artists and DJs reached out privately. A fundraiser is now live to provide legal and psychological support to victims. Its visibility is essential. SHARE THE FUNDRAISER.
