WooHOO! Seattle Beer Week is underway and we're absolutely obsessed with the Family Style West Coast IPA collab. S/o to our friends at @fastfashionbeer for brewing and canning. Can art is A1 as always. All the breweries involved got together at Fast Fashion for a brew day and were challenged with drawing their breweries logos. Had to tap into their inner artists. It's giving middle school doodles and we're so here for it. This brew is avail in both MBC taprooms, in cans and on tap babyyy. And check out @seattlebeerweek to see all the events going on around the city, we’re so pumped to be a part of this! Cheers 🍻

some weeks ask you to slow down a little. to sit a little longer at the table. to say yes to one more drink, one more song, one more conversation. this week at Métier feels like that. trivia on Wednesday. music on Thursday. small hobbies and shared tables on Saturday. Mother’s Day love all Sunday. just good people finding their way back to each other. 📍Métier Brewing Co | Cherry St #LilBrownGirl #MetierBrewing #SeattleVibes #CherryStreet #CommunityOverCompetition

There is a certain magic when live jazz meets a perfect, sunny Seattle evening. We are thrilled to welcome back Kit Jordan for their final performance of their Folklife residency at MBC Cherry St. Playing from 7-9PM this Thursday (5/7)! As a gifted horn player and songwriter, Kit brings a unique brilliance to the stage. Come cheers to the finale of an amazing run! Special thanks to our partners @nwfolklife and @knkx for making this happen. We love live music and because of ya’ll, our community can love it too. About Kit Jordan: Kit Jordan is a Seattle-based multi-instrumentalist, artist, and music educator. Originally hailing from Whidbey Island, he has cultivated his creative sensibilities through a background of vibrant artistic communities and collaborations. Jordan has been influenced by classical, folk, Celtic, Indian, and principally jazz traditions, drawing from each to shape a sound that is both exploratory and grounded in storytelling. He sings, writes, and plays tenor saxophone and flute with the alternative-soul band i///u, while also developing independent jazz and singer-songwriter projects. Across his work, Jordan explores themes of adoption, multifaceted identities, and the ongoing search for belonging. His music moves between improvisation, danceable grooves, and lyric-driven narratives that invite listeners into spaces of both reflection and connection.

Celebrating Black Joy & Cinema at SBFF! That’s a wrap! What an unforgettable weekend celebrating the 23rd annual Seattle Black Film Festival (SBFF). We are still buzzing from the incredible energy at the closing night kickback at Métier Brewing, surrounded by amazing creators, community members, and film lovers. As the longest-running and largest Black film festival in the Pacific Northwest, SBFF once again brought pure Black joy, excellence, and storytelling to the forefront. From the packed house on opening night for the Tony C. Bombara film to the screenings of over 50 phenomenal films at Langston, this weekend was a powerful testament to our community’s legacy. 🎬 Festival Highlights & Innovations The Theme: This year’s powerful focus was “Sound of Us,” showcasing distinct cinematic voices and diasporas from all over the world. Rich Programming: Along with the amazing films, attendees enjoyed specialized workshops, including a film pitching session and the Langston Lounge pop-up club. Deep Community Roots: Local leaders like Keya Free, founder of Hey Black Seattle, and Seattle Film Commissioner Lex Scope were in the crowd enjoying the youth film block, cinematic experiences, and local community connection. Converge Media Was Proud to Support! We at Converge Media were absolutely honored to be a part of the magic. Our very own TraeAnna Holiday (@traeholiday ) was on the ground, proudly moderating a compelling industry talk with sound design and ADR specialist Bobbi Banks. Amplifying Black narratives, art, and heritage is at the heart of what we do, and being a partner for SBFF was an absolute privilege. A massive shoutout to Executive Director Ebony Arunga and the entire Langston team for exuding so much joy and elevating this vital legacy. 📅 What’s Next? Keep your eyes peeled for the upcoming Seattle Black Nerd Festival returning to Langston this August! 🤓🖤 📸 @omarisal
