Launching his new album 'Tilburg Noord / Tilburg B-side', he gave us a diverse taste of his musical background: from lyrical European impressionism to rhythmic improvisations.

The Tilburg Sax Summit team presents our venues for this year!
In almost a month you will have the opportunity to visit all these amazing places in the city of Tilburg for our concerts!
Starting with Nieuwe Vorst - Rode Salon for Out of d´box concerts, travelling through
Factorium- Factoriumzaal for the Guest teachers chamber music recital.
At Paradox we will have Rik van der Made with special guest Benjamin Herman;
Frank Gratkowski quartet presents “In Cahoots” and
“The Art of the duo” concert: Lavalu (voice) & Mete Erker (sax); Fuensanta (voice/ double bass) & José Soares (sax).
On the last day of the festival you can visit Schouwburg Theaters for the Sax Summit Kids concert at 14:15h and the Closing Concert at 14:30h!

Happy to be part of the Talent Lab Day with NJJO last weekend! I’ve seen the future, and this new generation is bursting with talent and a wide musical range. Caught them again yesterday at the Boy Edgar Prize concert of Reinier Baas… what a force! 🎶🔥 Huge shoutout to the five incredible women at the forefront: composing, arranging, performing with skill, and owning the stage with confidence.

The lyrical saxophonist and composer @mete_erker will present with his Trio + 1 a double album full of musical discoveries: "𝗧𝗶𝗹𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗴 𝗡𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗱 / 𝗧𝗶𝗹𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗴 𝗕-𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲". This suite is an exploration of identity, memory and the poetry that lies hidden in the cracks of a 1970s suburban development.
