Vom Entwurf zum Werwolf 🐺 Ein Blick zurück auf die Abschlussprüfungsvorbereitung von @metamorphair bei @maskemainz . Dieses Projekt zeigt eindrucksvoll, wie viele Schritte vom Entwurf bis zur fertigen Verwandlung in einen Werwolf notwendig sind. Von Kopf- und Gesichtsabdruck über die Formkorrektur, von der Perückenmontur mit eingezeichneter Knüpfrichtung bis zur fertigen Frisur mit markanten Backenbärten – jedes Detail wurde sorgfältig umgesetzt. Auch die ersten Modellierversuche führten zum fertigen Gesichtsteil aus DRAGON SKIN™ FX PRO Silikon. Ergänzt wurde das Ganze durch modellierte und reproduzierte Wunden, Narben und Ohren aus DERMA-SIL. This project impressively demonstrates how many steps are required to transform a concept into a finished werewolf. From head and face cast to corrected mold, from wig foundation with marked knotting directions to the finished hairstyle with striking sideburns – every detail was carefully executed. Even the first sculpting attempts led to the completed facial piece made of DRAGON SKIN™ FX PRO silicone. The whole look was complemented with sculpted and reproduced wounds, scars, and ears made from DERMA-SIL. As part of the 3-year dual training course in mask design @louislepoixschule @stadtbadenbaden , the focus in the learning area „sculpting and drawing“ is on the training of perception and its implementation in a 2- and 3-dimensional medium. This means that objects are intensively observed and represented in drawings or sculptures - intensive training to expand the neuroplasticity of the brain and strengthen the psychomotor skills of our students.
