David Lloyd Leisure (DLL) is Europe’s largest premium leisure group, operating 132 facilities across the UK and Europe. Since 2023, we have supported DLL with pre-contract cost management services, helping to maximise value for money on capital investments across their estate.
To date we have assisted with the budgeting and procurement of over 40 site investments, as well as help agree pricing matrix agreements for roll-out projects such as Padel courts installations.

Today, is not only about wearing festive jumpers, but it is also to raise money and awareness for Save the Children UK. A truly special cause, helping to improve children's lives by creating better educational opportunities, better health care, and improved economic opportunities.

40,000 steps, 30 kilometres walked, and 322 shots over 13 hours – what an achievement!🏌🏽
A huge congratulations and well done to Martyn Stokes, Sean Ingham, Alex Foord, Oliver Sweeney, Benjamin Baker, and Daniel Parker for taking part in the Longest Day Golf Challenge! ⛳
For the last two years, Daniel Parker has organised this challenge to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. This year, the team raised over £2,200.
Well done to everyone involved for their dedication and hard work in supporting such an important cause.

Employee Spotlight: Davina Patel 🏃♀️
A huge well done to Assistant Cost Consultant, Davina Patel, who ran the Adidas Manchester Marathon at the weekend.
Davina is an active member of our CSR Committee and is instrumental in driving forward our CSR initiatives. Earlier this year, she organised our very own Q1 MESH Runners Challenge to help promote better physical and mental well-being for 2024.
Her hard work and dedication has undoubtedly paid off, finishing the marathon in an impressive 3hrs 52mins and raising £1,100 for Cancer Research.

Today is sometimes referred to as the most difficult day of the year. Although, according to Samaritans, this is a myth.
They argue that there is no such thing as Blue Monday, as we all have our good days and bad days, and those aren't for the calendar to decide. So, to stop the negative connotations of Blue Monday, and dispel the myth, they advocate for Brew Monday.
Following in Samaritans' footsteps, our CSR Committee organised a session for our team to check in, have a conversation, and listen to each other. This simple act helps build and reinforce relationships, which works towards keeping people connected and supporting positive mental health.

Last week, our team headed over to Bath to celebrate our annual Christmas party. Its honey-coloured Georgian architecture and idyllic green spaces provided the perfect backdrop for our festivities.
The highlights of the trip were exploring the Christmas Market and soaking up the festive atmosphere around Bath Abbey. And of course, a visit to the historic Roman Baths!
