A trip of celebration! Celebrated turning 35 and planned this trip because @chantel0330 turned 40 šŸŒž It was so special to explore, eat, walk & shop around Paris with these ladies, especially Freja - a magical, whimsical, fashionista 5 year old who brings soooo much joy and lots of giggles. A much needed reset before summer pour moi! Xoxo!

BOOT TAN FEST ✨ Holy moly, y’all blew my heart wide open. I’ve always loved ā€œfestivalsā€ - the way they transport you into another world for a few days through art, music, costumes, and creativity. Each one leaves behind a trail of memories and inspiration for what’s next. And let me tell you…every *woman* needs a @boottanfest In the fall of 2025, @jennnnygirl invited me to join the Boot Tan team, and what an incredible journey it’s been. From building a festival centered around skiing to completely pivoting just a few weeks before because there was no snow…we created a beautiful spring-weather alternative that still brought out the Boot Tan. I witnessed how important it is to create and hold safe spaces, how powerful it is to uplift and empower the people around you, how contagious kindness still remains, and how freakin’ good it feels to dance, giggle, and cover yourself in glitter in the mountains. Young me would be so proud of current me🄹 I’m already so excited to start planning the next one alongside the best crew. Much love to each and every one of youā¤ļøā€šŸ”„ā¤ļøā€šŸ”„ā¤ļøā€šŸ”„

Hi, my name is Mercedes and I am le’ tired. As I sit here in a mountain town, mid- February, where it is currently 36 degrees and we have no snow on the ground, I can’t help but feel so sad for our climate. Our poor environment, confused animals and plants, diminishing waterways etc etc. Today I spent some time reading about yet another blow which is to wipe out U.S Climate Regulations. The U.S, one of the top contributors of greenhouse gases, making a massive change based on greed and oil&gas profits… I read a piece from @lennecefer Substack on confusing posting with politics and it’s been on my mind ever since… ā€œhow can I hold myself accountableā€ when I hop on this app or read the news or listen to a podcast and feel so compelled to share about something that angers me… ā€œSystems don’t change because a million people were briefly furious. Systems change when enough people do sustained, coordinated, boring things for long enough that institutions have to respond.ā€ - Len So I’ve marked my calendar, I’m reading any materials and I’m going to attend a local meeting on a new proposed development in my area (slide 2) and stand with my community to save the animals from being displaced and local land from being disturbed etc etc. I invite you to join me. I’m sharing this because I know a lot of my close people are le’ tired and sad and exhausted from our $hithole administration. So tell me, how do you combat this outrage? What are you up to? Thanks for reading if you got this far. xoxo
