True crime has never been more popular, with nearly half of us Brits consuming it daily. But as the genre grows, so does the risk that missing people become content: stories shaped for clicks, views and ratings, rather than the lived reality of the families left behind. In the UK, someone is reported missing every 90 seconds. To challenge this and confront our collective appetite, Rachel Stubbings has directed this powerful film in partnership with BBH and exec’d by Sharon Horgan. A huge thank you to everyone who brought this to life. We hope it sparks a shift in how we consume stories of human tragedy and encourages a more thoughtful, human perspective. We’re excited to launch Pitch Your Story in partnership with @ladbible - an open brief celebrating the communities, characters and moments that make the UK unique. Together with @mermanbranded and @raceequalityfoundation , we’re inviting the next generation of creatives and filmmakers to submit an idea for a social-first short film exploring what it means to call the UK home in 2026. This initiative builds on the Young Arrows' mission to open doors, remove barriers and creating opportunities for stories that don’t always get told - with the winning idea brought to life with up to £15,000 in production support and mentorship from LADBible's Creative team, plus post production provided by @okaystudio and sound production by @runamok_studios .
