True crime has never been more popular, with nearly half of us Brits consuming it daily. But as the genre grows, so does the risk that missing people become content: stories shaped for clicks, views and ratings, rather than the lived reality of the families left behind.
In the UK, someone is reported missing every 90 seconds. To challenge this and confront our collective appetite, Rachel Stubbings has directed this powerful film in partnership with BBH and exec’d by Sharon Horgan.
A huge thank you to everyone who brought this to life. We hope it sparks a shift in how we consume stories of human tragedy and encourages a more thoughtful, human perspective.
