I’ve been thinking a lot lately about what I would say when it was time to say it.
I’ve spent a decade in LA. A perfect round number sitting imperfectly across my thirties.
My time here has been benchmarked by art making and warehouse floors and mountains and deserts and beaches. I’ve fallen in love with so many places and so many moments and so many people but namely and most valuably - myself. LA, maybe most surprisingly, gave me the incredible gift of something that lives beyond self-discovery. I’ll leave all the intimate nuances of our love affair between the two of us for now (buy the book!) but will say here - I’m forever grateful. Thank you Los Angeles.
@chipsahoyjunkie and @dakotaloesch are making a movie and they invited me along. Turns out filmmaking is really fun. There were lots of really amazing people involved, including the team at @themaltshop who put together this teaser.
