Heading into the weekend like…
Always taking inspiration from clients as they walk me through what they love and how they are looking to wear it together…

Autumn is here. Layers of Silk, Leather, Lace and of course…Denim become my uniform. I’ve always found the best accent to that is strands of colored stones accented with Gold Locks. Relics and Charms are here to share your story. I’ve always loved created these ONE OF ONE pieces…
Launching the Tourmaline Love Lock Waterfall Charm Necklace.
These are my people. I find myself feeling gratitude towards these little humans. They keep the bar high. At first, I saw my job very clearly, keep Grayson alive. May sound dramatic but as a new mom, I could only think of that. That was my purpose. Keep her warm, fed, loved, and watch her little chest rise and fall when she slept. Once I nailed that, it became a bit more complex. After new mom survival mode…things kicked in in ways only a blooming mother can understand. And with each trip around the sun, the new mission became very clear, be the example. Of course this wasn’t rinse and repeat when Asher arrived 3 1/2 years later. He was completely different, and so was I. This was round 2 but so much more to learn. And more and more it became clear… be the example. And this means in every aspect of life. And through the years, through hardships, divorce, building a new life, as a single mom…be the example. Your words mean nothing if your actions don’t follow. Sure they hear you, but even more, they see you. Show them how to take the high road, how gossip lacks compassion. How compassion is everything. How kindness is the only way. How self love and self care is NOT SELFISH. How your life is a series of moments and choices paving the way to your future. Every moment of every day and every decision, and that holding yourself accountable is true self respect. More and more the bar raises. And the older they get, the more they see. And that’s where the gratitude comes in. I’ve always had high standards for myself, and yes, I give myself grace when needed, but with these two, I only want to soar, and be the example for them to follow. So thank you to my two favorite humans, for choosing me as your Mama. And Happy Mother’s Day to all those other Mamas working their asses off to be the example. Keep on keepin on 👠💃🏽💋❤️🔥
In the spirit of today being International Women’s Day, I feel called to this very special being who I owe so much too. Frida Kahlo struck me at the tender age of 17 when I noticed a poster of her hanging on the wall of a friend’s dorm room. I grew up around lots of art and spent endless hours walking museums from the time I was a little girl. How did I not see her until now? The timing was perfect actually. As a freshman in design school, I was ripe and ready to be open to everything that would enter my universe. Enter Frida Kahlo. I began obsessively, diving into her world learning about her personal life, her struggles, her art, and was intoxicated by her beauty and her progression sense of STYLE. She was powerful. She was resilient. She was vulnerable. She was authentically in her essence whether or not she was in pain, tender love, or deep anger. Free to wear her heart on her sleeve. Grounded in the Feminine AND the Masculine. While many people might think that strips your power, it only made her stronger in her presence- in her impact. As a woman, she was the example that we can be unapologetically ourselves no matter what phase of life we are in, and lean into every struggle and success as they are one and the same. Here’s to you, Frida, for all of the art that you have created both with the paint and in life. HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMENS DAY
