So many of you have said you’re praying for Will, remembering him, sending good energy our way—we accept it all, don’t give a fig what you call it. Thank you, truly. We feel like the richest folks in Bedford Falls. He’s a little better, but slow better. He’s still got a long road ahead of him. Think Bruce Wayne putting himself back together down in the bowels of the Pit. He asked me, “What do I need to do, Dad?” I told him what Alfred told Bruce: “Endure.” That’s what we do, and that’s what we’re doing. Thanks again.

I can't even remember how long I've been doing this (years and years and years) but this is my reminder on Good Friday that Jesus' death on the cross was for me. And for you. #forgiven

The first day of 2026 has been a very good one. I took time this morning to reflect on some memorable things from the the past year. Here are some 2025 highlights that I want to document! January - a big snowfall! February - a trip to Colorado for Sarah’s baby shower + annual gathering in Kentucky with some of our favorite people + Flu A hit me hard (the sickest I’ve been in years). March - Fielder was born and I spent most of the month in Colorado! Will & Peyton bought their first house! 🏠 April - living my best “Birdie” life. Birdie is my grandmother name. I flew home from Colorado the first week of April. Grateful for a flexible job and time with a new grandbaby. May - Abbey graduated from the University of Arkansas and a week later the two of us road tripped to Grand Rapids, MI to get her settled in for an internship with Meijer. My siblings and I started a long, hard process of helping our mom clean out one of her houses to sell. 🎓 June - My Colorado crew flew to Nashville, TN for a wedding and I met them there, then drove them back to Hot Springs for a week with us! Fielder met his great-grandmothers and lots of other family! Lots of Zoom calls with my siblings (dealing with mom’s house stuff) + John and I celebrated 35 years of marriage! ♥️ July - my aunt moved to Hot Springs (so happy about this!) + a Colorado trip to see Fielder + a girls beach trip to Florida with my sister and sweet friends! 🏖️ August - A fun family reunion in Branson, MO! Everyone loved boating on Table Rock Lake. And Mom's house closed! 🙌🏻 September - Several of my cousins visited + a Razorback game at War Memorial + another quick trip to Colorado + Abbey got a JOB. 🙌🏻 October - OBU Homecoming Weekend with my freshman besties + Abbey moved back to NWA + a big trip to Ireland, England, and Wales. ✈️ November - Made a couple of weekend trips to Northwest AR to help Abbey get her apartment set up! We are true empty nesters now. 🥹 December - family holiday fun + a Christmas trip to Colorado. 🎁 2025 had it’s share of heavy and hard things but looking back at these memories makes me smile. Grateful for ALL of it!

This little guy was the best thing that happened in 2025! Grateful for a chance to spend a few days with him (and his parents) over Christmas! ♥️

We've lived in Arkansas since 2021 but Colorado will always have a huge piece of my heart. I had a few minutes to wander around a flea market this afternoon and happened upon this sweet little Colorado mini-plate ornament. I knew immediately that we needed it on our tree! 🥹 Love!!! ♥️

I shifted my morning routine a bit this month and circled back to scripture writing. There's something different about writing scripture rather than just reading it. I'm sure there's some science there... Adding coffee, the light of our Christmas tree, and a snuggly pup just gives me all the JOY on these wintry December mornings!

Awestruck. #northernlightsinarkansas We were able to see the northern lights a couple of times last year but tonight they were very bright and easy to see without a camera. So freakin cool.

Once upon a time we lived in Colorado and loved cold weather. Now we're just dramatic Arkansans bundled up in hats and puffers to to walk our dog in 57 degree temps. 🤣 It's also pitch black outside and I'm ready for bed. I'm not just dramatic, I'm old.
