This is me, wearing something other than black for the first time in the 2026 calendar year. Until now it was all black everything, every dang day.
I promised @bb_wilde that when she officially made the @hrt_hayner_racing_team I would wear Team Navy to the track for two days straight.

🏆 This season I asked myself “what else can I do to help the club?”
The answer wasn’t difficult - be there more often.
Take Radley to more tournaments, help with rides to/from practice for other families, put @ikir and BB in the snack bar for Super Brawl, make @getoffkilter a sponsor, stay late to roll up mats, carry water and pizza when there’s extra. Just be there when the club needs us….because the club is there for us and our kids.
Effort in, effort out. Here’s to 2026.

This year I’m putting myself somewhere uncomfortable and trying something new, Indoor Kart Racing at @k1speed in Horsham.
Last night was the first race and I went in with butterflies and heavy breathing…but after some pacing, focused breaths, core stretching and Grateful Dead in the headphones I was ready to race.
Big thanks to @ikir , BB and Radley for supporting me and urging me to join the hunt for a cup this year! 🏆 🏎️ 🏁

Radley’s second season started with challenges and tough matches, but he made the decision to work extra hard, join the tournament team and wrestle into the Black Room by the end of the season. He placed well in this season’s tournaments and learned a ton about being a growing human, on and off the mat.
I can’t thank this club, its coaches and board enough for what they bring to our community. UDYWA is doing it different, leading with heart, integrity and dedication to our youth.
