Specialized Status.
This was a mega project from the end of last year, I was given the opportunity to paint a @iamspecialized #status mountainbike and had free reign to do what I wished with it, the only requirements for it to be black and red. ⚫🔴
I learnt a lot and had fun creating this piece albeit a lot of stress getting it to look the way it does and time taken to achieve the best finish possible.

Raleigh frame donated by @rollquickbicycles for a restoration paint job. We had a lot of fun coming up with the style for this one, choosing Candy Ruby Red, very similar to the original paintwork and painted the lugs in white. To finish we added some Art Noveau inspired line work on the top tube and chain stays with Roll Quick written in a calligraphic font.
Very happy with how this one turned out, we also chose to leave the fork unpainted to contrast.

HJC helmet decal customisation. The helmet originally had painted black logos but the client wished for it to be Gold to match with the accents on his bike. For a lower cost, I made decals to perfectly sit over the original logos. I also added some Gold strips to accentuate some of the lines on the helmet.
Pretty happy with the result on this one, hope you like it. 🌟

This Specialized Epic originally had a matt clearcoat from stock. The client gambled on having a gloss #ridewrap fitted and was more than happy with the result. Look how it picks out the metallic in the paint. This is now one beauty of a bike. Protect your ride and make it shine!
