Emily Lipson is an American photographer and director who is based between NYC + Paris. Her commercial clients include Nike, Vivienne Westwood, Diesel, Tom Ford, Warby Parker, and Zara, while her editorial work has appeared in Self Service, Re-Edition, Dazed, Vogue Italia, among others. Formerly represented by CLM Agency, Emily now runs an independent studio practice.   In 2026, she released her first monograph, DYKES, a 5-year photographic project designed by SJT Studio, alongside an exhibition in Paris. She photographed 50 people that identify as a dyke or member of the dyke community in a practice of sustained looking, arguing that identity can be both our greatest limitation and our greatest entry point for shared experiences and community building. The book received significant international press coverage and sold strongly upon release, resonating across both fashion and art audiences. Emily is passionate about mentoring emerging artists with a strong creative eye and fresh perspective, particularly those who may have struggled to find pathways into the industry or establish themselves and their voice.
