A powerful day at Mentivity. This is the start of a dialogue that brings communities together through sustained investment, expert innovation and how to work in a true collaborative manner.
Repost @princeandprincessofwales Witnessing how young people from the local community are being supported and heard through the work of @mentivity Mentivity in South London.
Over 400 young people each week take part in mentoring, youth clubs and school outreach, with all designed to support educational engagement, emotional growth, and social connection. At Mentivity House, young people are given the space to lead, express themselves, and build futures rooted in hope and opportunity.
We visited Mentivity House, one of our incredible charity partners, to hear firsthand from the founders about their mission and the impactful work they’re doing behind the scenes to support young people and the community.
@mentivity will be one of the two key charities we’re partnering with this year, helping to fund their vital education, mentorship, and therapy initiatives.

“A lot of people have given up on the youth, so it’s important to empower them and let the youth know they’ve got a voice”
@buckotb sees it just as we do at @mentivity that’s why Mentivity House and our new youth club is so important.
It’s been one week since the release of “The Centre” our first short film with @spotifyuk@artisanfilmtv produced and directed by @adeyemimichael
The response has been phenomenal and we’ve raised nearly £4,000 to support our work @mentivity
Please continue share our content, fundraiser page and of course our film as we attempt to raise £1,000,000 to support Mentivity House over the next three years!
We are grateful to you all for your support, your donations and the love.
Let’s make Mentivity House a true success together.
Mum, wake up, a new Mentivity ‘How’s Ya Touch’ just landed 👀

WOW 😅🤢
We wanted to say a huge, huge thank you to @carpetsofacleaning.london for getting all of our carpets right ahead of the Mentivity House official launch event - the results are unbelievably impressive 👏
The story behind this is what it’s all about though - the business owners’ son regularly attends Mentivity sessions, and when walking past Mentivity House on the week of the event, he saw us cleaning windows… next thing you know, he’s cleaning our carpets, for free - this is COMMUNITY 🖤
What a great and informative conversation @capitalcitycollege 🤝🏾
As we move into our tenth year, keep your eyes peeled for more growth, exciting announcements, and most importantly, more impact ‼️

Without my Mum… none of this would be possible.
Without the many thousands of children that have invested time with Mentivity since 2016… this wouldn’t be possible.
Without the children that attend Mentivity House… this wouldn’t be possible.
Without the countless people that have supported Mentivity behind the scenes, this wouldn’t be possible.
Without the community championing us and our work… this wouldn’t be possible.
Without Allah.. none of this would be possible.
Together, we have made the impossible… possible.
Let’s not stop there, if you can support us financially, with your time, have connections to funders or just want to see what we can do together. Get in touch via our website…
Mentivity House officially opens and is ready for investment!
This dynamic youth organisation led by visionary CEO @sayceholmeslewis celebrates ten years of frontline youth work — and two years of its flagship hub, Mentivity House — at a time when youth provision is critical!
Their launch event was attended by MP for Peckham @miatta_fahnbulleh_ a strong advocate for youth provision, and Southwark Council’s Sarah King, who has championed bringing community voices into local policy.
Sayce Holmes-Lewis, CEO and Founder of @mentivity said:
“Too often organisations like Mentivity are described as part of the ‘third sector’, but in reality, we are first responders.
"When systems are under pressure and young people need somewhere to go, it’s community-led organisations that are already there.
"We build trust, provide early intervention and deliver the consistency that wider systems rely on but often can’t sustain.
"Systems change isn’t about creating something new. It’s about recognising and investing in what is already holding communities together.”
Congratulations to whole team! ✨✨✨✨

I thank Allah for everything he has forced me to endure, I’ve learned so much along the way and I’m a better man and human being for it.
To all of the supporters of Mentivity House and @mentivity over the last two years and ten years respectively, thank you. Your love, advice and guidance has kept me going at times when it was easier to walk away.
You cannot walk away from your destiny.
Allah has given me every single obstacle, burden, hardship, responsibility and strength to stand here in front of the space he gifted me, to gift to you all…
