I wasn’t always a book reader. But in my early 30s, I discovered the power of reading books and embarked on a journey of self-improvement. đŸ’Ș Everytime I read an impactful book, I wondered “What if I had known about these lessons while growing up?'" đŸ€” So I and my team decided to make these life lessons accessible to kids during their growing up years. We created TruBuddy, a series of comic books designed to guide children aged 8-14 years through their growing up years. đŸŒ±đŸ“š These comic books teach life-changing lessons such as habit building , understanding money , growth mindset and power of appreciation, so that the young readers can make smart choices as they step into adolescence. ❀ Subscribe to TruBuddy comics! India’s menstrual education gap has long been shaped by stigma, silence, and misinformation. In this context, Aditi Gupta’s Menstrupedia (@menstrupedia ) uses comic-based storytelling to simplify menstrual learning for students. The platform, co-founded with Tuhin Paul, is helping schools adopt stigma-free, accessible education on puberty and menstruation across India. đŸ‘‰đŸŒ Comic-Based Learning Menstrupedia is a comic-led educational platform that uses relatable characters and storytelling to explain puberty and menstruation in a simple, non-judgemental way. It also includes books for boys, educator masterclasses, and workshops designed to make menstrual health education more inclusive in schools. đŸ‘‰đŸŒ From Personal Experience Aditi Gupta, born in Garhwa, Jharkhand, was inspired by her lived experience of silence and stigma around menstruation. During her time at the National Institute of Design, she co-founded Menstrupedia with Tuhin Paul to make menstrual education more accessible, visual, and stigma-free for young learners. đŸ‘‰đŸŒ Expanding Reach Launched in 2014, Menstrupedia evolved from a design project into a structured educational initiative. After crowdfunding its first book, it gained visibility through entrepreneurship platforms and expanded its presence in schools through multilingual and culturally adapted learning resources. đŸ‘‰đŸŒ The Logical Indian's Perspective Menstrual health education is essential for dignity, equality, and informed growth. Initiatives like Menstrupedia show how creativity can challenge deep-rooted stigma and make sensitive topics approachable. Society must support such efforts and normalise conversations around menstruation in schools and homes. ⚡⚡How can India further strengthen menstrual education and break long-standing taboos? For years, periods have been treated as a “women-only conversation.” And maybe that’s exactly why the stigma still exists. Because when men stay silent, women are often left to deal with discomfort, shame, and awkwardness alone. It’s time to change that. The more fathers, brothers, friends, and partners become part of the conversation, the more normal periods become for everyone around us. Because awareness doesn’t grow in silence. Conversations create change. This Menstrual Hygiene Day, let’s start a movement: Period PowerUp The 100% Conversation ❀ A movement to make periods a conversation that includes everyone, not just women. To break the stigma. To normalize support. And to create awareness where it matters the most. Because periods were never meant to be whispered about. And it’s time we stop treating them like they are. Flowers are nice. But have you ever tried gifting your mother what she actually needs? This Mother’s Day, don’t just gift her flowers, chocolates, or cards. Gift her rest. Time. Care. Gift her moments where she doesn’t have to take care of everyone else first. Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible mothers who do so much, often without asking for anything in return. đŸ€ [Mother's day, mother's day gift, TruBuddy mothers, parenting, gentle parenting, gifting, motherhood, menstrupedia, TruBuddy]

Children learn how to feel through you. It’s important for them to feel safe, heard, and understood. Some days will feel easy. Some days won’t. That’s human. What matters is showing up again, with patience, with respect, and with care. When you create a safe space for them, they grow emotionally stronger. let us know what’s one small thing you want to do differently with your child? Sports still tells girls to stay quiet and suffer in silence. Jemimah Rodrigues calls it out, periods aren’t the problem, the stigma is... Cramps, fatigue and the pressure to perform while acting as if nothing has happened. Talking and opening about periods will help our girls to take care of themselves and become better athletes and confident humans ✹ (Periods, cricket, women cricket, confidence, silence, suffering, strength, Jemimah Rodrigues, menstrupedia, periods taboo)

We say periods are natural. But when it matters most, we still treat them like an inconvenience. If our systems can’t support something this basic
what are we really building? [Periods, menstruation, menstrupedia, examination, breaking news, women, school girl, borad exam, support]

If a natural biological process becomes a hiring disadvantage
we don’t have a policy problem. We have a mindset problem. At Menstrupedia, we’ve offered paid period leaves for years, and we’ve seen the outcome firsthand: ✔ Stronger trust ✔ Higher commitment ✔ Better performance Because when people feel supported, they show up better. Periods are not a weakness. They are the reason life exists. The real issue isn’t menstrual leave, it’s the stigma around it. So the question is: Are we building workplaces that support women
or silently penalize them for their biology? [Periods, supreme court, support women, menstrual leave, menstruation, menstrupedia, indian government, women employee, employer, biological process, menstrual taboo, stigma]
