During recent training with Driving Mobility, our team were given the opportunity to wear simulation glasses that mimic vision loss caused by various eye conditions, such as cataracts, retinitis pigmentosa, peripheral vision loss, and glaucoma. This experience provided them with a much deeper understanding of what it’s like to drive a mobility scooter or powerchair while living with these conditions. Many found the exercise to be highly insightful.
