it's that time of the year again, time for another 10+ hour dj set 🥰 this sunday i'm celebrating my birthday by becoming musically obsessed and posessed again at my favorite secret venue. this time joined in crime with the truely fabulous @ivanmarching who will be hosting some "high concept field games" as she said, brace yourselves & pm for invites.
while preparing i've rediscovered my love of minimal music (don't hate me, it's the best kind i promise) and after a decade of dj-ing i feel like i've gone full circle through everything electronic music and ended up kind of where i started. but this time with the absolute permission from myself to myself to love what i love the most. all to say: i am very very very excited to dj however long i possibly can! just keep dancing and i keep playing 🥹 see ya on the dancefloor! 😘

Over the hazy edge of winter an intermittent pulse sends ripples through the fog, at first it sounds like a familiar thud but as it draws near it morphs into a voice, not quite a speaking voice but one that is spliced in such a way that each cycle of its utterance ends in an increasingly inquisitive tone, demanding if not an answer, at least a presence moving in lockstep with its ebb and flow.
On the other side, laying on cool grass in the spring sun, we will recognize each other as having gathered around a strange attractor now dissipated with the fog, but remember nothing of what it asked of us.

i always loved olfe for looking like an aquarium so i made this plan to play music for fish this sunday 🐠 and since then i've been finding so much music with aquatic themes.. it's almost like the universe likes my plan and is trying to help me. anyway all that to say i'm really excited about the music i'm gonna play on sunday, i'm on from 7pm, come by, fishes. it's gonna be real experimental, lots of vocals and weirdness, bring k. fish kisses! xo🐟

uploaded the recording from the 12 hour set i played at my birthday party in July. 🤗
this has somehow been a long time in the making: just me djing all night, 120 friends, that's it. it definitely felt like the gig i've been preparing for my whole life as a dj. 💖 thankk you to everyone that came for being the best birthday gift evvvveer! no idea if the recording does the party justice (it was pure magic start to finish, really 🥰) or if anyone will even start listening to a 12 hour recording... but i'm a bit of a retard when it comes to recording sets and this time i managed to record all 12h of it so i guess i have to post it hehe. hours 6-9 is 2-sluto-tryptamine aka PAARTANZ and me, the rest is just me me me.
