"My family came to this country as refugees when I was a baby, and I’m grateful we were able to bring a piece of our home and culture with us through our traditions and celebrations. My mom dedicated her life to teaching us about our culture and heritage. Even though she has since passed away, the lessons and traditions she gave us continue to live on through me and my children. Carrying those traditions forward is one of the greatest ways I honor her memory."
From rivals on the middle school grass to sisters on the club pitch! These incredible athletes from across the Menifee Union School District have proven that while they may wear different school colors during the week, they are united by one goal.
After a season defined by hard work, sacrifice, and pure heart, these girls finished 2nd in the Southwest Conference, earning a prestigious spot at the Development Player League (DPL) National Finals in Virginia Beach! 🌊
They are the ONLY team from Riverside County in their age group heading to Nationals. They aren’t just playing for a trophy; they are representing their families, their club, and our entire community on the national stage.

We were honored to attend the 18th Annual SELPA Community Advisory Committee (CAC) Recognition Event, a night dedicated to those who go above and beyond for our students. As a network of parents and educators, the CAC promotes equity and access for all children by empowering caregivers to become effective partners in their child’s education. This work is supported by SELPA (Special Education Local Plan Area), which brings school districts together to ensure every student with a disability has access to the high-quality services they need to thrive.

It’s Facilities Friday! 🚧 Progress continues on projects across the district, made possible by the ongoing support of our community and funding from our Bond measures.
Callie Kirkpatrick Elementary: Construction on four new modular classrooms is nearing completion. Crews are wrapping up interior work, while new trees are being planted outside to enhance the campus.
Sally Buselt Elementary: Construction of 10 new classrooms (serving grades 1–5) is well underway. Roof tile installation is complete, with drywall and painting in progress. The new TK/K classroom additions are also approaching the final stages.
Join us in welcoming Stephanie Linn to her new role as Expanded Learning Administrator. While she will be missed in her role as a teacher at Sally Buselt Elementary, we’re excited that she will continue supporting students and staff in her new position at the same school.
