My Lil’ Becker - It’s our first day waking up without you. You gave me your love that you didn’t give easily. You were so small, and I was scared when we first got you. I was scared that Spencer would eat you, but you two loved each other. You were the little instigator, with a little bark you would send Spencer into action. When we got Eros it took you awhile to warm up to him, you’d walk off your bed and ignore or growl at him. But near the end you were both sleeping with your head on each other. Before we made you our family it seems you were mistreated and it showed by you always timid until you felt comfortable, feisty and bite a few folks, but afterwards you would be my loving Becker to them. You would stop shaking and become their best friend. I’ll miss your nudges especially if I hung my hand off the bed, even blind you would smell me out. We’ve been in tears on and off for days- It’s painful, seeing my Boo in tears. I’m sorry for the decision we made but I couldn’t see my Lil’ Becker struggle anymore. It’s an awful decision to have to make. Thank you to all that have reached out. So many friends and family met and played with Becker and knew his character that I’m going to miss seeing everyday.
